I am a Pro-Am Sand Sculptor Based in North Port, Florida. I am Going to be offering sand sculpting lessons for families on Siesta Key starting in January 2020 but, I have done preliminary lessons with a few families for research and to see how well The Forever Sand Castle would be received by the public. I am working with various artist to sculpt and produce smaller souvenirs for shops located around the country. From Sasquatch to mermaids, from Florida to California, I hope to have some kind of collaborative souvenir that was either done in clay or sand in every souvenir shop in the country.
The advancements in 3D Printing have made prototyping and production more affordable for general public. I believe that 3D Printing and art will be married together, whether its real-world items like The Forever Sand Castle being reproduced or 3D rendered sculptures become a physical reality. the 3D Printer is the wave of the artistic future!
Growing up with a single mom who is a fantastic artist in her own right. I was exposed to her artistic process and trained by her from an early age how to develop my own creative process. My mom has been a huge inspiration and driving force behind pursuing my artistic Passions.
From Sand Sculpting to Collaboration
2.5 Hour Lesson $50.00 Per Person Lessons Include a Replica ("The Forever Sand Castle") of your castle made on that day that will be shipped to you.
Wedding Proposal sculpted at Siesta Key beach Standard sculpture $1,000.00 and very customized Sculpture 2,500.00. Includes a mounted Replica of the Sand Sculpture Proposal from that special day as a keepsake.
We can capture your sand castle or sand sculpture and create a replica using my patented process and mount the replica on one of my patent bases. If you have a Sand Sculpture Trail and a Gift/Souvenir Shop we can capture and mass produce replicas for your Souvenir shop.
If you run a sand sculpture park and have a souvenir shop, you might want to consider selling replicas of the sculptures that your visitors see in the park. I can assist you with the details and technical stuff and provide you with mass production of those sculptures. Making them affordable and collectable.

The Photogrammetry process I use for sand and clay is far beyond the current methods. I can capture FAR BETTER details and the 3D prints I have produced are very ACCURATE compared to any rendered using traditional PHOTOGRAMMETRY methods.
OMG! This was an amazing experience for us all! The boys absolutely loved learning and creating. The end result was amazing! Would say this was one of the best experiences of our vacation. You have to give it a go.

We had an incredible time with Mitch. As we arrived, Mitch had already set up a tent, some chairs, and a cooler with some drinks. He was really attentive and introduced us to several techniques to create a sand castle (or a sand sculpture). He helped us while letting us express ourselves. Mitch was also really good with the kids (7 and 10), kept them engaged and encouraged them to keep going. We had an awesome morning and and we highly recommend this Airbnb experience.
This was a fantastic experience. Great activity for our family (we have two boys ages 7 and 9). We finally built an awesome sand castle we could be proud of. Mitch was a great host, very well prepared, very friendly, and shared his expertise freely. We also had some pleasant conversations and enjoyed our time with Mitch. We all had a great time, and we had a sense of accomplishment, as we built a pretty sophisticated castle! Mitch figured out a way to take a 3D-print of the castle, and within about two weeks, we received a small standing 3D model with our picture at the bottom! Wow - that's taking it to another level! Nicely done. Thanks Mitch! If you are thinking about taking this activity - we wholeheartedly recommend it. Just an awesome experience, and great activity for the whole family.
